Your whole school day, running on your desktop.
SchoolMod is a free, open-source app that brings your timetable, homework, notes and AI study tools into one fast, private place — no extra browser tabs, no SchoolMod server, nothing tracked.
Free and open source · MIT licensed · Windows, macOS and Linux
Every tab, one timetable.
Ten tools that used to live in ten browser tabs, now sitting in one app that opens in under a second.
Dashboard
Your day at a glance: next class, what's due, cards to review, quick actions.
AI Assistant
A streaming study chat powered by your own Claude or ChatGPT account — one click to connect, nothing to configure.
Notebooks
Drop in PDFs, Word docs or notes and chat with them — answers are grounded in your own sources, with citations.
Flashcards
Generate a deck from any topic or your own notes, then review it on a spaced-repetition schedule.
SEQTA
Timetable, assessments, grades, homework and notices, signed in through your school's own Microsoft login.
Microsoft 365
One-click launch for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and OneNote, plus your recent OneDrive files.
Mathspace & Education Perfect
Launch either platform with a worked-solution tutor and an on-demand revision sheet for whatever you're stuck on.
Bell times
A live current-period tracker with a countdown to the next bell, carried over from the original SchoolMod.
Focus, to-do & scratchpad
A Pomodoro timer that tracks daily focus minutes, a task list, and a notepad that saves itself.
Command palette
Ctrl+K (or ⌘K on a Mac) jumps anywhere in the app or runs an action without touching the mouse.

SchoolMod 2.0 — Desktop
Loading release details…First launch note — these builds aren't code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen or macOS Gatekeeper will flag them. On Windows choose More info → Run anyway; on a Mac, right-click the app and choose Open.
Nothing leaves your laptop
SchoolMod runs locally. Your notes, decks, login sessions and AI conversations stay on your device — there's no SchoolMod server in the middle, because one was never built. The Claude and ChatGPT connections talk to your own account directly, and SEQTA or Microsoft sign-ins go straight to your school or Microsoft, not through us.
